It is a technical engineering department linked to the University President. It provides services to all colleges, institutes, centers, dormitories, the Presidency Council, and the other administrative facilities associated with the University.
Since its inception, the department’s work has been focused on maintenance work for colleges and university and service buildings. The department’s mission is based on:
1- Preparing the university buildings’ annual projects plan
2- Supervising the preparation of designs and ideas for projects
3- Supervising the implementation of the University’s colleges, laboratories, and buildings
