Welcome to College of Agriculture
The College of Agriculture was established in 2020 as one of the colleges of the University of Samarra, on an area of approximately 10 dunams. It is located in a vital geographic area within the city of Balad, part of the Salah al-Din Governorate. The college began its academic journey with two departments: Field Crops and Horticulture and Landscape Engineering. It later expanded by introducing evening studies, and continued its development with the establishment of the Department of Food Science in 2024. The process of growth and advancement continues, aiming for the college to secure its place among the distinguished academic institutions and to contribute actively to the agricultural sector and scientific research in Iraq.

Dear Professors and Students, Welcome to our college website. I wish you success and well-being. This platform aims to enhance communication and provide easy access to academic information—an essential element of institutional effectiveness. Our college is dedicated to preparing qualified professionals and guiding youth toward contributing to national development and food security, thereby supporting the economy and reducing reliance on external resources. I also call on the government to support this vital sector by offering loans and farmland to agricultural engineers to help achieve food security for our country.
