Dean of Engineering Visits Student Dormitories

Assistant Professor Dr. Amjad Saleh Mahmoud, Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Samarra, initiated a visit to the student dormitories to assess the living conditions of resident students. He was accompanied by Assistant Lecturer Muqdad Ali Ahmed, Director of the Department of Dormitory Affairs.

The visit coincided with first-year students across the university commencing their first semester exams for the 2024-2025 academic year. The purpose was to monitor their progress, understand their general living conditions, and evaluate the services provided in the dormitories.

Dr. Saleh praised the students’ academic commitment, particularly their dedication to studies and preparedness for exams. He also commended the efforts of dormitory supervisors in creating a conducive environment for the students.

Additionally, the Dean acknowledged the Dormitory Affairs Administration’s efforts in supplying all necessary accommodations, including daily maintenance and addressing student needs.

Director Muqdad Ali Ahmed emphasized that the dormitory staff remains on alert throughout the academic year to ensure suitable study and living conditions for university students. He affirmed their commitment to enhancing the services and administrative aspects of the dormitories and the well-being of their residents.
