A Welcome Message from the Dean of the College of Applied Sciences Being entrusted with the deanship of the College of Applied Sciences is both an honor and a responsibility we deeply value. It serves as a strong motivation to further advance this distinguished college one of Iraq’s leading academic institutions with a clear vision for preparing specialized scientific professionals in the fields of pathological analysis, applied chemistry, and biotechnology, all in accordance with the highest standards of professionalism and practical training We firmly believe that achieving the college’s objectives requires a unified effort to provide essential resources, including qualified academic staff, deserved scientific titles, and modern laboratories equipped with the latest technology. In light of the rapid social and scientific transformations occurring in Iraq and around the world, the College of Applied Sciences firmly believes that university education is no longer a privilege for the few, but a vital necessity that empowers individuals to actively contribute to the progress of their nations and the development of their communities. The college’s mission is rooted in strengthening the role of higher education in shaping individuals both intellectually and practically reflecting the essential role of knowledge in building a more advanced, stable, and prosperous future.
Goals
1- Preparing scientifically qualified personnel equipped with specialized technical skills that contribute to the advancement of various applied field. 2- Graduating students with strong academic and scientific competencies that integrate theoretical knowledge with practical application, in accordance with quality standards in higher education. 3- Fostering learners’ personal development, enabling them to be active members of their communities and capable of entering the job market alongside traditional degree holders, but with a more advanced applied perspective. 4- Training scientific and research-oriented professionals who are able to contribute to the ongoing scientific and technological revolution both regionally and globally. 5- Enhancing the research and educational infrastructure by establishing specialized laboratories that support both academic programs and scientific research. 6- Working toward launching master’s and doctoral programs in applied disciplines, thereby strengthening the scientific journey and promoting the advancement of higher education in Iraq.

قسم التحليلات المرضية
تأسس القسم في العام الدراسي (2011-2012) ضمن اقسام كلية العلوم التطبيقية / جامعة سامراء, حيث تم قبول (47) طالباً في الصف الاول وفتحت الدراسة المسائية في القسم في العام الدراسي (2012-2013) حيث تم قبول 112 طالب وطالبة . وتخرج من القسم العديد من الدفع بواقع 5 دفعات من الدراسة الصباحية و 4 دفعات من الدراسة المسائية اما عدد طلبة القسم حاليا في مراحله السنوية الاربعة في الدراستين الصباحية والمسائية ما يقارب (220) طالب للدراسة الصباحية, وما يقارب (215) طالب للدراسة المسائية . ويعد القسم من الاقسام العلمية الكبيرة والمهمة في الكلية ويأتي في المرتبة الاولى من حيث قبول الطلبة اعتمادا على معدلات ورغبة الطلبة المقبولين في كلية العلوم التطبيقية.

افتتح قسم الكيمياء التطبيقية منذ تأسيس الكلية عام 2011-2012 ويضم الكادر التدريسي (مخلف محسن صليهم) رئيسا للقسم و(م.م. زينب هاشم ) مقررا و(م.ك. ميناء عبد السلام) معيدة في القسم. وكانت بداية المسيرة العلمية باستقبال طلبة المرحلى الأولى للدراسة صباحية فقط للعام 2011-2012 . وفي العام التالي تم تكليف السيد ( م.م. حارث جميل مهدي) باستلام مهام رئاسة القسم والذي تم فيه افتتاح الدراسة المسائية. الـــــرؤية:-

قسم التقانات الاحيائية
استحدث قسم التقانات الاحيائية في كلية العلوم التطبيقية / جامعة سامراء في العام الدراسي 2019- 2020 واستحدثت الدراسية المسائية في العام التالي 2020-2021 هذا وقد خرج القسم اول دفعة في العام الدراسي 2023-2024 فضلا عن استحداث دراسة الماجستير في القسم في العام الدراسي 2025-2026. وأنشأ على رؤى مستقبلية علمية واستقراء حاجة البلد والجامعات من الملاكات العاملة في مجالات علمية مختلفة. ويعتبر تخصص التقانات الاحيائية تخصصاً سريع التطور في مجالات علمية متنوعة تشمل علوم الحيوان والنبات وزراعة الانسجة الحيوانية والنباتية والاحياء المجهرية والفطريات الطبية والهندسة الوراثية والبيولوجي جزيئي والصناعات الصيدلانية والطبية والمعالجات البيئية والتخصصات ذات العلاقة لذا يسمى القسم بأنه قسم متعدد التخصصات multidisplinary department.
