The Minister of Higher Education calls for an Arab conference to review educational strategies

 

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Nabil Kazem Abdel-Saheb, called for an Arab conference to review educational strategies in the post-pandemic era.

This came when he welcomed the Tunisian ambassador in Baghdad, Mr. Reda Zaqedan, where the two sides expressed the two brotherly countries’ readiness to formulate a framework for joint action in the field of higher education and scientific research, which represents a vital field for developing cooperation relations between Iraq and Tunisia.

During the meeting, the Minister of Education affirmed that Iraqi universities are ready to exchange scholarships with their Tunisian counterpart, research fellowships, joint supervision of graduate students, hold scientific conferences and training workshops, provide conditions for scientific review of post-Corona education strategies and benefit from its indicators.

In his turn, the Ambassador appreciated the keenness of the Iraqi Ministry of Education and its institutions to crystallize the horizon of cooperation through the proposed work programs that enhance areas of scientific understanding between academic institutions in the two countries.
