The University of Samarra organizes a seminar entitled (Manufacture of activated carbon used in drinking water technology)

 

A panel discussion has been organized at the College of Engineering entitled (Manufacture of activated carbon used to purify drinking water).

The seminar, which was delivered by (Professor Khaled Hamid Latif) included: Clarifying the nature of activated carbon and its multiple sources of industry such as wood, oil, and surplus organic materials and the reason for using these sources in addition to the physical and chemical methods of manufacturing activated carbon and its wide multiple uses such as medical, environmental and industrial.

The Dean of the College praised the efforts made by the teaching staff in presenting such scientific discussion seminars in the presence of the college staff and students and stressed the need to increase the seminars to develop the scientific and cultural activity of the College.
