Honoring the President of Samarra University with the shield of the Holy Qur’an Academy in Sharjah

In a series of visits by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Sabah Allawi Al-Samarrai, to research and scientific centers in the United Arab Emirates, the Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah met with its Secretary-General Sheikh Sherzad Abdul Rahman Taher and discussed areas that would serve the Holy Quran and its people.
They also reviewed several research projects concerned with managing the Holy Qur’an and its readings. The two sides agreed to activate joint steps in this field, especially since the President of the University has presented a project that serves the Holy Qur’an in aspects of graphic and rhetorical interpretation of Qur’anic readings.
They agreed to start practical steps to approve and implement this project.
Then, His Excellency, accompanied by the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Ghanem Al-Samarrai, Prof. Eng. Abdul-Khaleq Muhammad Juma’, Mr. Eng. Omar Muhammad Juma’ and the workers in the Academy made a detailed tour of the Academy’s joints and its distinguished halls, which encroached between classrooms, reading and online reading for memorizers and readers from all over the world. Galleries that showcased Handwriting of the Qur’an in rare copies from the first century AH to the present day.
And a hall is showing the ten reciters, models of their readings, and a great library of books of interpretation.
The tour concluded with a unique hall with original models of the covering of the Kaaba and the honorable Prophet’s chamber.
In conclusion, through an official press interview, the university president expressed his happiness with this grand edifice, praising the efforts of those in charge of it.
The Secretary-General also expressed his happiness with this meeting and presented the shield of the Academy in appreciation of the efforts of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Sabah Allawi Al-Samarrai, in the service of the Holy Quran in various fields.
