The President of Samarra University welcomes the delegation of Turkish scholarships
Prof. Dr. Sabah Allawi Al-Samarrai, President of Samarra University, welcomed in his office the International Academy delegation for Leadership and Development, which is based in Istanbul, Turkey. This was after conducting interviews with Samarra University students who applied for the “Grant of Hope” program offered by the Academy to study master’s degrees in Turkish universities recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Iraq.
Allawi discussed with Mr. Moaz Salem Abd al-Rahman, a representative of the International Academy, the opportunities for accepting scholarships and their controls. Also, the capabilities available to Samarra University students when they join the scholarship program, praising the efforts of the Academy and its endeavor to serve higher education at various levels and directions, and the University of Samarra in particular.
These initiatives come within Samarra University’s vision of opening up to neighboring countries, taking advantage of opportunities that serve the university’s staff and students, and investing experiences and cooperation within the framework of its borders and provisions stipulated to increase scientific and knowledge gain at all levels.
