Department of Chemistry Launches an Awareness Campaign on Illegal Migration

The Department of Chemistry at the College of Education for Pure Sciences – University of Samarra has launched an awareness campaign entitled “Illegal Migration… the Road of No Return”, as part of its community-oriented efforts to raise awareness of the risks associated with illegal migration and its negative effects on individuals and society.

The campaign included the distribution of awareness brochures highlighting the dangers of illegal migration, the humanitarian and legal challenges faced by migrants, as well as emphasizing legal alternatives and opportunities for development and nation-building within the country.

The organizers of the campaign affirmed that this initiative comes in line with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Presidency of the University of Samarra to serve the community, enhance awareness among students and youth, and encourage them to contribute to building their future through education and work, away from the risks that threaten their lives and stability.

The campaign witnessed positive interaction from students, who expressed their appreciation for such purposeful awareness activities that contribute to addressing contemporary societal issues.
