Two Faculty Members from the Department of Chemistry Publish a Joint Research Paper in a Scopus-Indexed Journal
Assistant Professor Dr. Iman Dhiab Abbas and Assistant Lecturer Qaed Bakr Ali, faculty members at the College of Education for Pure Sciences – University of Samarra, have published a scientific research paper in the Bulletin of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Assiut University in the Arab Republic of Egypt. The journal is indexed in Scopus, in the fourth quartile (Q4).
The research is entitled:
“Determination of Amlodipine Besylate and Valsartan Using High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) in Their Tablet Dosage Form.”
The study aimed to develop a rapid, simple, sensitive, and selective method using high-performance liquid chromatography for the determination of amlodipine besylate and valsartan in their pharmaceutical formulations.
The results demonstrated high accuracy and excellent repeatability of the proposed separation method for both drugs, whether determined individually or simultaneously in their pharmaceutical preparations, in addition to its high accuracy and
stability.
