Faculty Member from the Department of Life Sciences Participates in an Arab League Meeting

Dr. Haqi Ismail Jasim, a faculty member in the Department of Life Sciences at the College of Education for Pure Sciences – University of Samarra, participated in a meeting of the League of Arab States / Union of Arab Scientific Research Councils / Arab Association for Nanotechnology Materials Sciences – Iraq Branch, which was held in Baghdad, the capital city.

The meeting commenced with discussions on ways to enhance joint Arab academic cooperation and activate scientific partnerships among Arab universities, in addition to preparing and organizing the International Conference of the Arab Association for Nanotechnology Materials Sciences.

The participants also discussed mechanisms of international support and coordination with Iraqi universities, as well as strengthening the international representation of Arab universities under the umbrella of the Union of Arab Scientific Research Councils, contributing to the advancement of scientific research and the expansion of academic expertise exchange at both Arab and international levels.

This meeting reflects the University of Samarra’s commitment to building bridges of cooperation among Arab academic institutions, unifying scientific efforts, and enhancing their active presence in international scientific forums.
