The College of Agriculture at Samarra University organized a training course titled “English in the Workplace.”
The course was presented by Assistant Lecturer Abdullah Hashim Ibrahim and Assistant Lecturer Baraa Abdul Salam Abdul Hamid, with the participation of faculty members, staff, and students.
The course aimed to highlight the pivotal role of English in keeping pace with rapid technological advancements, as it is an essential tool for accessing modern knowledge and using digital programs and technologies. It also aimed to enhance learning and professional development opportunities in the contemporary work environment.
The course covered the importance of English in academic and professional fields, its role in developing job skills, and improving communication within organizations. Furthermore, it addressed how English opens up broader horizons for graduates to enter the local and international job markets.
