Dr. Arkan Matar Ahmed, a lecturer at the College of Administration and Economics, published a scientific study on the significance of knowledge management as a strategic pillar in enhancing the effectiveness of adopting artificial intelligence technologies within academic institutions.
The study aimed to analyze the role of knowledge management in supporting the use of artificial intelligence technologies. It adopted a descriptive-analytical approach and utilized a questionnaire as the primary data collection instrument, targeting a random sample of 291 faculty members.
The findings revealed a statistically significant impact of knowledge management on the adoption of artificial intelligence technologies, with an effect size of 71.4%, reflecting its vital role in driving digital transformation within the university environment.
Moreover, the study demonstrated that knowledge distribution and sharing processes are the most influential factors in improving academic performance and enhancing the quality of the educational process, through fostering the exchange of expertise among faculty members.
The researcher recommended allocating dedicated budgets to support software innovation and activating knowledge-sharing platforms, in order to accelerate digital transformation and advance the educational environment within the university.
