Faculty Member at the College of Applied Sciences Publishes a Scientific Book on the Immune Response to Certain Intestinal Parasites
Ahood Muzahim Shaker, a faculty member at the College of Applied Sciences, University of Samarra, has published a scientific book entitled “The Immune Response to Certain Intestinal Parasites”, issued by Ratij Publishing, Printing, and Distribution House. The book discusses the most important immunological changes and responses associated with intestinal parasitic infections, highlighting the role of the immune system in combating these parasites and their impact on human health.
The book consists of three chapters across 138 pages, focusing on the nature of intestinal parasites and the mechanisms of infection, in addition to explaining the patterns of humoral and cellular immune responses toward certain parasites.
In this context, the book provides a scientific explanation supported by recent studies regarding the relationship between parasites and the immune system, while emphasizing the importance of immunological indicators in understanding disease progression and methods of control. The publication aims to support researchers and postgraduate students in the fields of parasitology and parasite immunology.
It is noteworthy that this book represents an important scientific addition to the academic library due to the modern information it contains, which contributes to enhancing scientific knowledge in parasitology and recent developments related to immune responses to parasitic diseases.
