University of Samarra Publishes Pioneering Sustainability Research

The University of Samarra has announced a diverse portfolio of sustainability-related scholarly publications during the 2025–2026 period, covering key areas such as green nanotechnology, wastewater bioremediation, waste-to-energy conversion through pyrolysis, and sustainable construction using hemp-lime composites.
The research also included advanced studies on innovative water desalination technologies, improving well-water quality with Fe3O4 nanoparticles, and developing statistical models to analyze traffic accidents and estimate their economic costs. Additionally, the university contributed to studies on sustainable agriculture, water resource management, and digital twin-enabled industrial transformation.
The university emphasized that these scholarly outputs highlight its strategic commitment to innovative solutions for environmental challenges, reinforcing its alignment with UI GreenMetric global standards for Education and Research.
