Preparing specialists in jurisprudence, its principles, the objectives of Sharia, and Islamic economics—academically, intellectually, and ethically—and achieving leadership in the labor market at all levels by adopting scientific research as a tool to meet societal needs and promote development while preserving Islamic identity.

The Department of Sharia seeks to improve the quality of Islamic education and to obtain academic accreditation by preparing qualified graduates specialized in jurisprudence and its principles, both academically and professionally, in a manner that meets labor market needs and serves society. Linking rights and duties in light of the objectives of Sharia and jurisprudence and its principles, in a way that strengthens belonging and loyalty to religion and الوطن (the homeland), achieves intellectual security, and preserves social cohesion. Contributing to the realization of the College’s vision, mission, and objectives. Developing the skills and capacity to understand Islamic legal texts in a manner compatible with contemporary realities. Enriching scientific research by producing scholarly studies on emerging issues and unprecedented cases, publishing them in reputable journals, supporting research projects for faculty members and students of the Department of Sharia, and organizing conferences and seminars in cooperation with relevant institutions and centers. Reviving Islamic heritage in jurisprudence and its principles through the editing, study, and verification of Islamic manuscripts.
