Duties of the Human Resources Section
Planning and organizing the college’s administrative affairs, following up on its workflow, and taking what is necessary to achieve the best possible formulas in its practice and implementation. It follows the Civil Service Law, the University Service Law No. 23 of 2008, the State and Public Sector Salaries Law No. 22 of 2008, and the Unified Retirement Law No. 27 of 2007 amended. And the Law of Discipline of State Employees and its amendments as far as it is concerned with workers, including employees and teachers in the college, and follow-up and implementation of orders and instructions issued by the Presidency of the University of Baghdad.
Issuing administrative orders for granting regular and sick leave to faculty members according to their entitlements, taking into account the provisions of amended Civil Service Law No. 24 of 1960. And the provisions of the University Service Law and the instructions issued according to it.
Issuing orders for investigative committees for various reasons after naming the members of the dean of the college or the dean assistant. .
Follow-up of the ages of the teaching staff and employees according to the decisions to confirm their ages issued and preserved in their personal files, and approaching the presidency of the University of Baghdad for the purpose of referring them to retirement in accordance with the University Service Law No. 23 of 2008. For teachers, the unified retirement law for employees, issuing separation orders, and approaching the retirement authority after organizing the service book (which includes his full service) for the purpose of allocating the pension.
Follow-up the working hours of teachers and employees and implement the instructions of the Civil Service Law against those who are absent from working hours.
– Issuing annual bonus orders for all college employees (teachers + employees) each according to his entitlement and based on the State Employees’ Salaries Law No. 22 of 2008 and approaching the Presidency of the University of Baghdad with the names of those eligible for promotion for the purpose of issuing the necessary order after organizing a summary of the services of the eligible for promotion and the period he spent in that degree .
