The Rector of the University of Samarra Receives the Anti-Corruption Procedures Follow-up Committee

The Rector of the University of Samarra, Professor Dr. Sabah Allawi Al-Samarrai, received the ministerial committee charged with following up on anti-corruption procedures and limiting it in governmental universities and formations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The committee was chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Jaafar Shawy, Director General of the Legal Department at the Ministry’s headquarters, with the membership of some staff from the department’s divisions.
During the meeting, the university’s implementation of the recommendations of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers was discussed, including the initiatives and phenomena related to combating corruption and how to address them.
For his part, Al-Samarrai explained that the university worked to organize awareness activities to limit corruption phenomena, including seminars, guidance campaigns, and specialized courses in the fields of anti-corruption.
