The Minister of Higher Education directs universities to support society, achieve reform and respect the law

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Nabil Kazem Abdel-Saheb, instructed universities to contribute to supporting society, achieving reform, and respecting the law.
This came in a message to the Opinion Commission that included several aspects that focused on community service. These are some of them:
“We want the university to have a prominent and clear role in society, not only at the level of the classroom and scientific research but with society directly, as our society suffers from many conditions and we have a responsibility to instill love, tolerance, cooperation, the values of creative professional work and respect for the law.

This task is achieved when universities have a prominent and significant role by forming teams in various social, health, extension, educational, legal, and public relations specializations.
The councils of universities and colleges must define the environment that requires reform and development, and cooperate with state institutions to launch the project, given that the thinking mind is the one that adopts solutions to the obstacles and problems, and today’s society expects from intellectuals to advance reality and improve the environment, economy, health, education and all the requirements of building the country.
