A paper published by two faculties, Dr. Liqaa Hussein Alwan and Dr. Iman Dhiab Ahmed in the College of Education / Department of Chemistry

 

The two faculty members have published their titled paper (Preparation and determination of some nanomaterial and their use in the development of filters to purify the air to reduce the risk of Coronavirus infection) in the journal International Journal of pharmaceutical research.


It is in Scopus (Q2) containers.

The paper included manufacturing nanotechnology filtered masks that can purify the air from bacteria, germs, materials, and toxic gases.

The filter was manufactured from nanoscale materials available, inexpensive and safe, and using green chemistry.
