The Ministry of Higher Education launches the parallel education channel and confirms the continuation of submission until next Thursday

 

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces the launch of the morning (parallel) government-private education channel for the academic year 2020/2021.

The spokesperson, Dr. Haider Al-Aboudi, said that admission to this channel is required for the student to fulfill the conditions related to central admission and that the applicant’s average for admission to this channel must not be less than three degrees below the minimum for admission to colleges (medicine, dentistry, pharmacy) at the Iraqi university level, three scores for the minimum admission rate for (nursing, health and medical technologies, medical technical institutes), four scores for the minimum admission rate for the Colleges of the Engineering Group and Engineering Institutes, five scores for the minimum for admission to science colleges, and six scores for the minimum admission for other specialties among them is a veterinary medicine.

He added that students who are graduates of the academic years 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 are entitled to apply to this channel, whether they have central or inadmissible, or they have enrolled in the evening or private studies or were they accepted within the same channel.

He added that students who applied on the (Private, Evening, and Scholarship) channels have the right to apply to the parallel, and their previous admission will be canceled if they start studying within this channel, pointing out that the student is allowed to apply for one choice and up to ten options.

He indicated that the application form continues until Thursday, 12/31/2020, and the student does not need to activate his exam number in Iraqi universities, and he can apply by using the examination number and the secret code through the Studies, Planning, and Follow-up Portal (www.dirasat-gate.org).
