The University of Samarra – College of Arts – a seminar on the development of our university in ten years
The Department of History at the College of Arts- the University of Samarra held a scientific symposium entitled “The Educational Development of Samarra University in Ten Years” delivered by Prof. Dr. Hazem Majid Ahmed and Dr. Nour Imad Fadel, the two faculty members on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at 9:00 PM, via Google meet.
The symposium reviewed the history of the university’s founding, its mission, goals, and scientific vision, as well as a presentation of the colleges and departments of the university and the stages of its development. Additionally, the scientific progress in research and international classifications, as well as the urban and administrative development witnessed by the university during the last two years.
The symposium witnessed a remarkable presence and communication during the discussion between the lecturers and attendees. Prof. Dr. Alaa Taha Yassin, head of the history department at the college, moderated the seminar, expressed his gratitude to the lecturers and attendees, wishing Samarra University all the best and prosperity.
