The President of the University of Samarra welcomes a delegation from the Iraqi Intellectuals Association – Salah al-Din Branch

 

The President of the University of Samarra, Prof. Dr. Sabah Allawi Al-Samarrai, welcomed, in his office, the President of the Iraqi Intellectuals Association – Salah Al-Din Branch, Dr. Hind Youssef Majid, to discuss prospects for joint cultural cooperation, in the presence of the Director of the University President’s Office, Dr. Hisham Abdel Sattar, and many members of the Society.
The President of the University welcomed the guests, stressing the university’s keenness to cooperate and communicate with all cultural and academic institutions and civil society organizations to exchange experiences in the scientific research service and develop the Iraqi higher education institutions.
For her part, Dr. Hind commended the efforts made by the university president to raise the scientific and academic level of the university to become in the ranks of sober international universities, expressing its willingness to coordinate between the university and local and international organizations.

She presented an overview of the association’s work to the university’s president.
The guests also conveyed their appreciation for his efforts in bringing the university to this high level among Iraqi universities, as it is (the talk of the councils) of the Samurai community.

The visiting delegation included the president of the association and the heads of the sub-committees, including (tribal, educational, women’s empowerment, rehabilitation and employment, culture, and youth).
