A master’s thesis at the University of Samarra examines the relationship between high blood pressure and thyroid hormones

 

The Department of Biology discussed a master’s thesis submitted by the student (Omar Saleh Ahmed) tagged with “the relationship between high blood pressure and thyroid hormones.”

This thesis included a study of a set of tests, including measuring the concentration of thyroid hormones T3, T4, and thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH), complete blood picture of RBCs, hemoglobin Hb, PCV volume, white blood cell count WBCs, and Hb Testosterone and heart enzymes represented by creatine kinase Ck and troponin and trace elements represented by iron Fe, magnesium Mg, and zinc Zn, and measurement of blood pressure and heart rate.
