The College of Education launches its chess tournament in the presence of a large audience

The College of Education at the University of Samarra inaugurated a (chess) tournament in the presence of Prof. Kamal Hussein – Vice President of the University for Scientific Affairs-, the Dean of the College of Education, Assistant Professor Dr. Ghassan Fares Attia, Professor Yasser Muhammad Saleh, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, and many of heads of departments professors, staff, and students.
The tournament was organized by the Sports Activities Division in the college, with Dr. Ali Shamil, the division’s official, who managed the game’s mechanism, and applied its laws applicable to athletes in the world.
Its activities were launched on Monday, December 20, 2021, and witnessed broad interest and a prominent presence from those interested. This game is one of the most critical mental and leadership games among games that include all ages and societies.
