The College of Agriculture organized an in-person symposium entitled Principles of Citizenship in Iraq, delivered by Professor Muhammad Ali Kazem, Head of the Human Resources Division.

The administrative and teaching staff in the college attend the symposium. The symposium examined all aspects of citizenship in Iraq and compared them between the past and the present. The discussion found that citizenship in the past was subject to the principles and values of Islam, unlike citizenship today, which is subject to the democratic system that stipulates the freedom of the individual in dealing with others.
