The conclusion of Samarra Spring Engineering Festival

Under the guidance of the President of the University of Samarra, Prof. Dr Sabah Allawi Al-Samarrai, and the direction of Assistant Professor Dr Amjad Saleh Mahmoud, the activities of the first Samarra Engineering Spring Festival, which was held by the College of Engineering held at Samarra University for the period between 30-31/3/2022, concluded according to a vision adopted by the Deanship of the College represented by its Dean, Dr. Amjad Saleh Mahmoud and the dean’s assistants for scientific and administrative affairs aimed at pushing projects from the walls of the college buildings to the ground.

The festival’s activities were distributed among the presentation of distinguished projects for students of the engineering departments (civil engineering, architecture, and electromechanical engineering). They took over two full days, punctuated by the Talent Festival, which included a display of artistic and literary talents for students of the College of Engineering to give the university and college the character of adopting creativity and supporting it. In the light of an organization that everyone witnessed meticulously, Its details, system, and interaction with the attendees in a spirit of high determination and openness to ideas.

The festival activities were attended by the President of the University of Samarra, Prof. Dr. Sabah Allawi Al-Samarrai, the Vice President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Kamal Hussein Ahmed, and the Vice President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Zuhair Qassem Muhammad, as well as many deans of the colleges who expressed their desire to hold the event. Such festivals are within all Iraqi universities.
