The College of Arts at the University of Samarra concludes its chess championship

 

The College of Arts at the University of Samarra has concluded its championship in chess as part of the college’s activities to develop the mental and intellectual skills of the college students.
The tournament started on the college premises and lasted for five days and three rounds. The match was organized in the presence of the Student Activities Division.
The tournament included the students of the various departments in the college of all their academic levels. It was supervised by the head of the Student Activities Division, Mr. Azzam Abdul-Jabbar, Mr. Omar Ali, and Mr. Nabil Abdul-Majid, the two employees of the college.
The competition witnessed three rounds distributed among the winners for each game. On Sunday, April 17, it ended with the student’s victory (Abdullah Hassan) from the History Department in the third stage. And that is after submitting in two consecutive rounds.
