The College of Engineering at the University of Samarra Documents “Al-Asheq Palace” as part of the Archaeological Buildings Project

 

The College of Engineering at the University of Samarra provided digital documentation for the “Al-Asheq Palace” project, which is one of the Abbasid archaeological buildings on the western side of Samarra.
This documentation is part of the practical aspect of Islamic architecture taught by fourth-year students in the Department of Architecture.
The student (Abdul Rahman Khalaf Mahmoud) was presented under the supervision of the assistant lecturer Suhail Najm Abdullah.
This project aims to document important archaeological buildings, return their lost parts, and simulate their shape.
