The University of Samarra launches the first football tennis tournament of its kind in the governorate
The colleges of physical education and sports sciences and the College of Education at Samarra University launched a tennis tournament for university members, organized under the President of the Salah al-Din Branch Federation for the game.
On Sunday, the 22nd of May, the championship matches, which brought together the Administration and Economics College teams and the Applied Sciences College, gathered at its opening and ended with the victory of the College of Administration and Economics team.
The second match, which brought together the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences teams and the Presidency of the University, ended with the victory of the College of Physical Education team.
The match took place in the multi-purpose stadium of the College of Physical Education and witnessed a significant presence and encouragement from the masses, who expressed their joy at the sight of such essential and new activities at the level of Salah al-Din Governorate.
