The President of Samarra University meets the Governor of Salah al-Din, and the latter pledges significant funds
Prof. Dr. Sabah Allawi al-Samarrai – President of Samarra University – and his accompanying delegation met with the Governor of Salah al-Din – Prof. Ismail Khudair Halloub. He discussed a group of important issues that impede the university’s progress and delay its financial and construction dues.
Allawi reviewed the most significant achievements of Samarra University in the fields of scientific sobriety, the creation of pure colleges and departments, as well as its entry into international rankings and superiority over dozens of local universities, as well as its development in research fields, and the increase in patents by its professors, despite the weak capabilities available. And the self-efforts of its staff compared to other Iraqi universities.
The meeting, which took place in the governorate building on Sunday morning, 12 June, was concluded with the praise of the Governor of Salah al-Din at the university, its achievements, and management at all levels.
