For his part, Prof. Dr. Sabah Allawi Al-Samarrai – President of Samarra University – welcomed the members of the ministerial committee and indicated the role that it is hoped that the center will enhance to develop the capabilities of the available staff at the university and the industry of researchers through the training course and provide them with the appropriate atmosphere; Through this, he showed the university’s reliance on its resources in creating many departments, colleges, and even virtual laboratories in them, despite the lack of any support in this direction from the concerned authorities. International research published in international containers, patents, and an increase in the number of graduates in the purely scientific field – enhances the university’s marketing globally and not only locally, since the world today allocates large budgets for implementing advanced laboratories. We hope we will be reflected in the center, and be a launch for various Scientific research related to biological sciences and infectious diseases, and allows the development of the research and knowledge aspect in the university, the governorate, and even Iraq, as we mentioned earlier.
In the same context, the Ministerial Committee praised the University of Samarra and stressed that the university is new, but it preceded and competed with prestigious and dependable Iraqi universities. It made its reputation glowing and prominent among its counterparts from other universities. Its administration’s apparent effort and tremendous and visible giving did not achieve this.
