The President of Samarra University meets the Governor of Salah al-Din and his accompanying delegation

 

Prof. Dr. Sabah Allawi al-Samarrai, President of Samarra University, met in his office with the Governor of Salah al-Din, Mr. Ismail al-Halloub, to discuss some issues related to the university and the rights to develop it.

Allawi welcomed the governor and the delegation accompanying him and discussed the need to support Samarra University, which is now occupying advanced positions among its Arab and international counterparts, and that this requires the governorate to stand by it – like the universities of other governorates -; Especially since the University of Samarra does not have a budget since the year 2020, and despite that, it keeps pace with development and is ahead of many local universities.

For his part, Al-Halloub stressed that the governorate is keen to support the University of Samarra with all its joints, that its development is an essential pillar in the growth of the city and the governorate together, and that the achievements of this newly established university match the capabilities of universities that precede it in inheritance and budgets; Therefore, the governorate – administration and leaders – stresses the support of Samarra University, and that it is continuing to provide services to it, noting that the 10 billion was included today in the governorate plan.

At the end of the visit, the President of Samarra University presented to the Governor of Salah al-Din the lists of laboratories that the university is working on completing, or develop some of them, especially since the university has recently won an international award in scientific research and that these laboratories and research laboratories need more support and attention; To consolidate its role and increase its production motivation.
