Students of the College of Agriculture on a scientific visit to the Agricultural Extension and Training Department in Salah al-Din Governorate

 

The College of Agriculture at the University of Samarra organized a scientific visit to the Agricultural Extension and Training Department of the Agricultural Extension and Training Center in Salah al-Din, to see the extension farm in Balad as part of the college’s endeavor to link it to the theoretical side with the practical side and to work to inform students and provide them with applied scientific experiences that serve them In the future.

On the visit, in which they were accompanied by Professor Dr. Khaled Abdullah Sahar, Dean of the College of Agriculture, and Professor Dr. Mona Ayed Youssef, Head of the Field Crops Department, and Assistant Professor Ghassan Zaid Morayef, Head of the Horticulture and Landscape Engineering Department, included a tour of the farm facilities, and a full view of the work mechanisms.

The visit witnessed a significant interaction between the students and the practical reality, mainly by providing an excellent opportunity to learn about greenhouses and the activities of the demonstration farm in a country in a realistic manner.
