A seminar at the College of Engineering discusses solid and hazardous waste management

The College of Engineering at Samarra University held a scientific symposium entitled Solid and Hazardous Waste Management in the College Seminar Hall.

The symposium, delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Owaid Habib, seeks to introduce the waste generated from the daily use of the individual in the home, educational institution, public and private spaces, as well as gardens and agricultural waste.

Another way to get rid of solid materials was by burning waste with special incinerators to produce electricity and reducing its volume after roasting by 90L. Still, it was later found that it causes air pollution and the production of cancer-causing dioxin. The world is heading towards reuse, recycling, and recovery of usable materials and access to zero waste.
