Samarra University Concludes Successful Training Course for Educational Counseling and Psychological Guidance Officials

 

Samarra University has successfully concluded the twenty-sixth training course for preparing trainers (TOT) for officials of the Educational Counseling and Psychological Guidance Division in the university’s colleges. The course, which ran for ten days, ended on Monday, March 6, 2023, with the graduation ceremony of the twenty-six participants who were awarded an international certificate in ITC training.

The graduation event was graced by the presence of the President of Samarra University, Prof. Dr. Sabah Allawi, and was a testament to the success of the training course. The course was led by Dr. Khadr Shukr from the College of Medicine at Al-Mustansiriya University, who lectured on changing negative beliefs in the university institution and activating the role of university counseling.

The course aimed to equip officials of the Educational Counseling and Psychological Guidance Division with the necessary skills and knowledge to enhance their roles in promoting positive change in the university. It highlighted the importance of programming and emphasized the need to activate the role of university counseling.
