College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences Attends Al-Sikak Shield Championship for Youth Community Football Teams

The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Samarra, represented by its Dean, Professor Dr. Saad Abbas Abd, and a number of its faculty members, attended the Al-Sikak Shield Championship for Youth Community Football Teams, held at Al-Sikak Stadium in an outstanding sporting atmosphere with a remarkable public turnout.

The College’s participation reflects its commitment to supporting community sports events and grassroots football initiatives, while encouraging young athletes to engage in sports and providing an environment conducive to identifying and nurturing promising talents. Such efforts contribute to establishing a solid foundation for the sustainable development of Iraqi sports.

On this occasion, Professor Dr. Saad Abbas Abd stated that the College’s participation in and support for such championships underscore its commitment to strengthening cooperation with sports institutions and the local community.
