Promotion Committee at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences Begins Preparation of the First Promotion Record for 2026
The Promotion Committee at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Samarra, has commenced preparations for the First Staff Promotion Record for 2026, covering 20 members of the College\’s staff. This initiative is being carried out in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Presidency of the University of Samarra, which call for the timely completion of the work of subcommittees responsible for staff promotions, recognition of academic qualifications, job title reclassification, service credit additions, and the processing of political dismissal cases, as well as the preparation of all eligible employees\’ files within the prescribed deadlines.
The committee is composed of:

The committee’s work is being conducted under the direct supervision of the Administrative Assistant Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Alwan Shukr, who emphasized the importance of adhering to the established timelines and completing promotion procedures in full compliance with the applicable regulations and instructions. He stressed that these efforts are essential to safeguarding the employment rights of the College’s staff and ensuring that their promotion files are processed with accuracy, transparency, and efficiency.
The committee also reaffirmed its commitment to handling all promotion cases in accordance with ministerial regulations, ensuring that eligible staff members receive their employment entitlements and that promotion applications are processed promptly once all eligibility requirements have been fulfilled. These efforts are aligned with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the University Presidency to complete administrative and financial procedures efficiently, accurately, and within the designated timeframes.
