The College of Agriculture at Samarra University hosted the launch of the 2026 Iraqi National Entrepreneurship Day, under the patronage of the University President, Professor Sabah Alawi Khalaf, and the supervision of the Dean of the College, Professor Khalid Abdullah Suhr. The event was attended by a number of faculty members and students, and featured a distinguished academic atmosphere and clear engagement from the participants.

The event aimed to instill a culture of entrepreneurship among students and encourage them to develop their ideas and transform them into viable, productive projects. This, in turn, contributes to supporting the local economy and developing the skills of university students in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship.

The activities included a student bazaar where students showcased their work and entrepreneurial projects. They presented a range of agricultural and food products and handicrafts that reflected their skills and creativity, as well as ideas for future projects with potential for development and investment.

The bazaar witnessed significant interaction from attendees who learned about the students’ experiences and initiatives, emphasizing the importance of supporting such activities that foster a spirit of initiative among students and contribute to preparing a generation capable of creating job opportunities and successful projects.

This event is part of the College of Agriculture at Samarra University’s efforts to support students, develop their entrepreneurial skills, and create a university environment that encourages creativity and innovation, in line with the requirements of sustainable development and community service.
