A Seminar at the College of Applied Sciences Discusses the Role of Artificial Intelligence in Supporting Mental Health
The Department of Computer Science at the College of Applied Sciences, University of Samarra, held a scientific seminar entitled “The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Supporting the Mental Health of University Students.” The seminar was presented by Assistant Professor Mustafa Abdullah Dhiyab and Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Ismail Lafta.
The seminar aimed to raise awareness about the importance of mental health among university students and to highlight the role of artificial intelligence technologies in providing psychological support and academic guidance. It also emphasized the importance of maintaining a balance between academic and social life in order to reduce psychological stress.
At the conclusion of the seminar, several important recommendations were presented, including the need to employ modern technologies and artificial intelligence to support mental health within educational institutions, as well as organizing continuous awareness programs focused on psychological counseling and developing students’ coping skills.
