A Seminar at the College of Applied Sciences Highlights Scientific Innovation and Ethical Responsibility
The Human Rights Unit at the College of Applied Sciences, University of Samarra, organized a seminar entitled “Scientific Innovation and Ethical Responsibility Toward Society,” presented by Dr. Omar Mohammed Hameed.
The seminar aimed to introduce the concept of scientific innovation and its importance in achieving sustainable development, while explaining the relationship between scientific progress and ethical responsibility toward society. It also sought to enhance awareness of research ethics and adherence to professional standards.
At the conclusion of the seminar, several important recommendations were presented, including promoting a culture of ethical responsibility within educational and research institutions, incorporating research ethics topics into academic curricula and training programs, and encouraging innovative projects that contribute to addressing societal challenges and improving quality of life.
