Department of Chemistry Organizes a Seminar on Excellence and Academic Achievement

The Department of Chemistry at the College of Education for Pure Sciences – University of Samarra organized a seminar entitled “Excellence and Success as a Guide Toward Academic and Future Achievement,” presented by Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Daham Humaidi, alongside a number of graduate students.
The seminar aimed to promote a culture of academic excellence among students and to enhance their motivation toward achieving scientific and professional success. This was done through presenting real-life experiences and inspiring success stories of the department’s graduates, who highlighted the major challenges they faced during their academic journey and the mechanisms that helped them overcome those challenges and achieve their goals.
The speakers focused on the importance of strategic planning for the future, including effective time management and organization, academic discipline and commitment, as well as developing self-confidence and continuously learning from mistakes and experiences as essential steps on the path to success and excellence.
The seminar concluded by emphasizing that excellence and success are not temporary milestones, but rather an ongoing journey based on diligence, perseverance, and self-development, and that students who adopt these values and principles are best prepared to build a bright academic future.
