Two Faculty Members from the College of Engineering Represent the University at the \”Future Inventors\” Exhibition

Dr. Awras Fadhil Khalaf and Dr. Shaimaa Hisham Abdul-Malik represented Samarra University at the “Future Inventors” exhibition held in Sulaymaniyah, organized jointly by Cihan University and the Northern Technical University.

The College of Engineering demonstrated a remarkable scientific presence at this forum by showcasing engineering innovations, including the Wind Tunnel and Pelton Turbine devices. These were designed and implemented as part of the college’s distinguished graduation projects.

The excellence was not limited to the faculty; it extended to graduates of the Electromechanical Engineering Department, Engineer Zuhair Ali Jamal and Engineer Damir Saud Wasmi. They provided detailed technical explanations of their projects to an elite group of academics, politicians, and investors. These efforts resulted in Samarra University’s projects being selected among the top 50 out of 495 entries, reflecting the university’s high scientific efficiency and competitive edge.

It is worth noting that this participation embodies the strategic vision adopted by the College of Engineering to foster a culture of innovation and bridge the gap between theoretical curricula and practical applications. The college continually strives to create a stimulating environment for students and graduates, enabling them to transform ambitious ideas into real-world projects that contribute to the scientific and developmental progress of the country.
