Two Faculty Members from the College of Islamic Sciences Participate in a Master\’s Thesis Defense Committee at the University of Samarra

Professor Dr. Saadoun Mohammed Mahmoud and Lecturer Dr. Asim Ahmed Abbas, faculty members at the College of Islamic Sciences, participated as members of the Master\’s thesis defense committee for the thesis submitted by student Mohammed Ramadan Ismail in the Department of Quranic Sciences and Islamic Education at the College of Education for Humanities, University of Samarra.

The thesis, entitled “Narrations of the Companion Abu Sa‘id Al-Khudri (May Allah Be Pleased with Him) in Jami‘ Al-Tirmidhi from the Chapters on the Description of the Day of Judgment, Softening of Hearts, and Asceticism to the End of the Book – An Analytical Study,” was evaluated and discussed by the two faculty members, who contributed to examining its scientific content and research methodology alongside a group of specialists in the field of Hadith studies.

This participation reflects the active scholarly presence of the faculty members of the College of Islamic Sciences and their contributions to scientific committees and postgraduate thesis defenses at Iraqi universities, thereby strengthening academic cooperation and advancing the quality of research in Islamic and humanities disciplines.
