The University of Samarra provides the health care sector and Samarra Hospital with various necessary medical supplies
Under the direct guidance of the President of the University of Samarra, Professor Dr. Sabah Allawi Al-Samarrai, the University of Samarra provided the necessary supplies to Samarra General Hospital after depleted the hospital due to the increasing cases of infection with the Coronavirus. These materials included quantities of the sanitation solution, medical gloves and masks, and alcohol. The medical support comes to complement the series of services provided by the University to the health sector from alcohol and thermal sterilization devices in addition to sterile materials and filtered masks with nanotechnology and protective suits with a headcover that was provided to health staff, all of which were produced by the research team at the University. The Director of the Samarra General Hospital Dr. Ali Khalaf expressed his thanks and gratitude to the University of Samarra, represented by the President and the research teams that have been working on the production of these materials to support the health sector in this pandemic that has been increasing. The President of the University stressed that the University continues supporting the hospital and will spare no effort in harnessing all the capabilities to support the health system.
