The Ministry of Higher Education decided to exempt students by 50% of the fees for parallel education for the academic year 2020-2021
The official spokesman for the ministry, Dr. Haider Al-Aboudi said that the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Nabil Kazem Abdel-Saheb, has instructed the formation of a higher ministerial committee to study the issue of parallel education and consider what serves our students, achieves the public interest, and takes into account the health and economic reality in our country, and providing help to the conditions of students and their families in This stage.
He added that the committee’s recommendations were presented to the Opinion Commission and its members voted by the majority to exempt students who are continuing to study and new students in universities within the morning special government education for all academic stages and at a rate of 50% of the study fees set for the academic year 2021/2020 exclusively, pointing out that the decision also included that wages paid in three installments.
