Visit of parliamentary Ammar Yousef Hammoud to the University of Samarra
Mr. Ammar Yusef Hammoud, a representative in the Iraqi Parliament and member of the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee, and his accompanying delegation visited the University of Samarra on, Sunday 29/11/2020, and was welcomed by the President of the University, Dr. Sabah Allawi Khalaf.
The two sides dealt with the university’s expansion mechanism and the urgent need for the new university’s campus. Also, Mr. Yousef congratulated the teaching staff for the new academic year 2020/2021 and praised the university’s development in terms of developing the faculties of administration, economics, and agriculture, the department of biotechnology, Master of Physical Education, and building the central laboratory.
The representative praised the blessed efforts of the teaching and employees, led by the president of the university, in what he sees as remarkable progress to give a bright picture of the university in Iraq in general and in Samarra city in particular.
At the end of the visit, representative Ammar Yousef expressed his readiness to provide support in serving Samarra University and the city.
