The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is preparing to launch the central admission form for successful students from the third round within two days, to enable them to enroll in Iraqi universities for this academic year 2020/2021 and achieve their ambition in light of the competition according to the rate, passion, and differentiation responsible for their distribution the of university majors.
The Ministry confirms that it has received the statistics of the students who succeeded in the third round of the middle school outputs, whose numbers reached thirty-seven thousand, two hundred and fifty-one students from the biological, applied, and literary branches.
It is worth noting that Iraqi universities have increased their capacity by nearly double their basic plan, which was estimated at around one hundred and seven thousand students, and it is now approaching the acceptance of three hundred thousand students from the first, second and third round outputs in which more than fifty-six thousand have emerged, their rates ranged from 90% to 100 % Or more, while twenty-three thousand two hundred eighty-nine students from the class (97-100) or more competed to reserve seats in the medical and health group.
