The Minister of Higher Education chairs a government meeting specialized for sponsoring scholars and talents

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Nabil Kazem Abdel-Saheb, chaired a joint meeting for sponsoring scholars and talents.

The Minister of Planning, the Minister of Culture, the Chairman of the Council of Advisors, the President of the Iraqi Scientific Academy, and a group of experts and specialists, discussed the details of the report related to the activation of the Scholars Care Law and reviewed the mechanisms of nomination, comparison and competition between those who meet the approved criteria in choosing scholars in various disciplines.

The meeting concluded with recommendations, including completing the review of the lists of applicants who had met the competition requirements, stressing the importance of this file, and developing its procedures in appreciation of Iraqi scholars, their results, and national contributions.
