The Minister of Higher Education urges joint scientific research and publication in international journals

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Nabil Kazem Abdel-Saheb, urged the importance of joint scientific research and the strengthening of publication in international journals.

This came during his visit to the Central Technical University and met with its council members, where the Minister renewed during the meeting the need for universities to take their role and independence in decision-making, starting from the scientific department, passing through the college or institute council, and ending with the university council.

He explained that the Ministry of higher Education faced a stage that is not easy and dealt positively with the input of universities that absorbed more than two hundred and twenty thousand in the central admission after its capacity was 107 thousand students.

He stressed the absorption of the variables and the orientation towards success in light of the available capabilities and continuous cooperation to overcome the psychological conditions and spread the respected authority.

He also stressed the need to develop a road map to adapt the requirements of the labor market, diagnose the stage horizon and requirements, establish scientific departments, update its curricula, pay attention to the infrastructure of universities, and complete administrative automation to reduce the effort expended at work.

For his part, the President of the University, Dr. Abdul-Mohsen Naji Al-Muhaisin, and its council welcomed the Minister’s visit and his keenness to follow up the universities and their colleges and to enable academic institutions to formulate scientific and administrative decisions inspired by the philosophy of educational services and the professional specializations they undertake.
